Atrial fibrillation, commonly known as A-fib, is a quivering or irregular heartbeat that can lead to blood clots, stroke, heart failure and other heart-related complications. According to the American Heart Association, 2.7 million Americans are living with A-fib. Treatment options range from medications to non-invasive as well as surgical procedures.
