Topic: Different Types of Plastic Surgery | Shannon Urena - Aultman Medical Group Plastic Surgery

Welcome to Health Matters with the Medicine Center Pharmacy. I’m your pharmacist, Paul White. Our guest today is Shannon Urena, Physician Assistant from Aultman Medical Group Plastic Surgery.

Have you ever wondered about the term “plastic” surgery?  The term plastic surgery comes from the Greek language, and literally means reshaping or remodeling from the original flesh.

Plastic surgery is a surgical specialty involving the restoration, reconstruction, or alteration of the human body. It can be divided into two main categories: reconstructive surgery and cosmetic surgery.  Today we welcome Shannon Urena from Aultman Medical Group Plastic Surgery and we will be discussing different types of plastic surgery.

We’d like to remind our viewers that today’s program is also available on our podcast which can be downloaded from the app store on your mobile phone. Look for Health Matters with the Medicine Center Pharmacy and you can listen to any of our programs, anytime.
